Something I’d Like to Learn: Stop Motion
There are many things I’d like to learn. However, I think I’d like to learn stop motion more than anything else. It sounds like fun, and you never know until you try it! That’s one reason why I’d like to learn how to do stop motion.
There are many ways to make animated videos, and stop motion is the easiest. It involves taking a bunch of pictures, moving the subject a tiny bit for each frame. When you have enough, you string them together and watch the result. If it’s not how you like it, you can simply retake a few pictures.
Another reason why I’d like to learn how to do stop motion is because I want to make the series of books I’m writing – Heroes of Keroine – into a television series as well. I could make an early episode series first to put on a youtube channel, and I could do this much easier by using stop motion. I could draw multiple pictures, then string them together and add audio.
You know how you play with your legos and make them go on an adventure? Well, you can really do that with stop motion! It’s fun to do, and you don’t necessarily have to hold the minifigures up the entire time. In the end, it looks like your legos have lives of their own!
That’s what I’d like to learn: stop motion. It sounds like fun, and it’s an easy way to animate. I could animate Heroes of Keroine and my legos! That’s why if I could learn anything, I’d learn how to do stop motion.
